Stand By For Action! 2 – The Final Countdown!

There’s now less than a week to go for Stand By For Action! 2: Tunes of Danger! This Saturday (July 13th), we’ll be hoping to see plenty of our Anderfans at Symphony Hall Birmingham for a night of nostalgic adventure and thrilling action as the music of Gerry Anderson’s worlds are brought to life, all performed by a live orchestra and hosted by Jon Culshaw. Be sure to book your tickets as soon as possible!

The orchestra is firing up its engines and our performers are equipping their arsenals for an evening that celebrates the music of Thunderbirds, Stingray, Space: 1999 and more. To whet your musical appetites further, here’s the finalised setlist for the concert! The concert is split into several distinct sections, each of which is dedicated to a unique aspect of Gerry Anderson’s worlds while ensuring that the full spectrum of his TV shows and films is included. Stand By For Action! 2 also features the first instalment in Anderson Entertainment’s forthcoming multimedia event, Stingray: Deadly UprisingDeadly Concerto!

As well as the concert itself, Stand By For Action! 2 will feature several exhibitions and displays of classic Gerry Anderson memorabilia and replica models, interactive features such as photo booths, and Official Gerry Anderson merchandise available prior to the main performance.

Among the merchandise on offer will be Paul Shipper’s marvellous concert poster, while VIP ticket holders will be given exclusive merchandise, including a specially produced concert programme, a Stingray 60th anniversary tote bag, a limited edition Stingray audio drama, a limited edition Stingray art print, and a copy of the cooperative card game Thunderbirds: Danger Zone.

From 60th anniversary celebrations of Stingray to enthralling musical medleys of all your favourite Anderson classic themes, Stand By For Action! 2: Tunes of Danger promises to be a celebration of Gerry Anderson’s worlds like no other.
