Network Distributing have today released the cover of the upcoming release of the New Captain Scarlet blu-ray.

New Captain Scarlet, originally produced in 2005, will be available in high definition for the very first time from September 2017.

Gerry Anderson’s classic cult 1960s TV series, ‘Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons’ was remade by Gerry Anderson and his production company Anderson Entertainment in 2005.  It was, at the time, the most impressive animated series ever to hit kids’ TV.

The retrometabolised version was called ‘Gerry Anderson’s New Captain Scarlet‘ and it used motion-capture CGI instead of puppets which gives each character much more dynamic movement and enables each episode to be packed with stunning visuals as well as breath-taking scenes, mind-blowing action and dramatic storylines in each 22-minute episode.Gerry Anderson’s New Captain Scarlet it packs all the punch of a blockbuster movie.
