Maybe not, but this week David Munday explains how it is that he became a fan thirty years after shows like Stingray and Captain Scarlet were made – in the middle of the Pokemon craze! A sports journalist and writer by trade, David recalls balancing his love of sports with a love of sci-fi, Thunderbirds as a family event involving multiple generations, and television as a medium combing the best of sound design, special effects, and music to create a believable world to give kids a means of better understanding the grown-up world.
