Yet Lady Penelope has been continuously left behind. As she gathers intel when other agents find their homes, she cannot understand why nobody wants her.
Lady Penelope has now found herself the one in need of rescuing, as with all agents they are scanned for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Lady Penelope has tested positive. FIV is a slow-acting virus and most infected cats live healthy and happy lives for many years. To protect the cat population at large from the risk of catching it and to preserve the health of the carrier, Battersea rehome FIV+ cats to homes with enclosed gardens.
Whilst she waits for someone to come along and save her, Lady Penelope spends her down time from missions snoozing in her Pink Rolls Royce or rolling her windows down to say hello to her friends in passing.
