Our monthly 10 Months of Terrahawks celebration, which has seen a special Terrahawks treat going live every month since January, came to an end this week on October 10th – or 10-10, Terrahawks Day! To commemorate the Day, the Official Gerry Anderson YouTube channel presented a special 40th anniversary livestream event hosted by Jack Knoll and David Munday celebrating both the series and the new range of Terrahawks merch coming soon to the Official Gerry Anderson store!
Discussed during the livestream were the upcoming Silva Screen Terrahawks soundtrack release, plus our three new Terrahawks books;
- Flaming Thunderbolts: The Definitive Story of Terrahawks, written by Fred McNamara is packed full of information about the show, offering a rare glimpse into Hawknest and beyond.
- Full-colour graphic novel Terrahawks: Deep Blue Z features two completely new stories penned by Chris Thompson and Andrew Clements, with art by Connor Flanagan.
- The 144-page Terrahawks Comic Anthology reprints the original Terrahawks cartoon strips that were originally featured in Look In magazine, supplemented by articles about some of the writers and artists involved.
On hand to discuss these were special guests Deep Blue Z artist Connor Flanagan and writers Chris Thompson and Andrew Clements, as well as Jamie Anderson – who also announced one more upcoming Terrahawks project of particular interest to fans of the Big Finish audio series!
