Thunderbirds Day, the annual celebration of all things International Rescue, is almost upon us! This Saturday, September 30th, will mark the 58th anniversary of the very first broadcast of Trapped in the Sky, the premiere installment of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s Supermarionation masterpiece! And we’ve got some very special Thunderbirds goodies coming up to celebrate the day…

The countdown to Thunderbirds Day begins on Monday when you’ll be able to enjoy a chat with Lady Penelope herself, as actress Genevieve Gaunt joins the Gerry Anderson Podcast team for the first half of a two-part interview about her work on the Thunderbirds audio dramas!
On Thunderbirds Day itself, if you’re in the UK and have been enjoying the Saturday afternoon Thunderbirds repeats on Talking Pictures TV, then you’ll also be able to watch Edge of Impact at 3pm! We’ll also be welcoming back Jack Knoll and David Munday to our YouTube and social media channels, as they host a evening livestream at 7pm celebrating all things Thunderbirds – including several exciting new releases to celebrate the occasion!
