This week in Gerry Anderson news!

What’s up, prime elders? It’s time for a real far out edition of the Gerry Anderson news!

This week’s edition of the Gerry Anderson Podcast launched on Sunday evening, and featured the third part of an interview with voice artist Marc Silk and an early episode of Captain Scarlet on the Randomiser! If you prefer to stick with traditional audio-only rather than our new and improved video format you can still catch it (and all other previous episodes) every week either through our website or via your podcast platform of choice.

Also new this week over on the Gerry Anderson Randomiser Podcast (also available on all podcast platforms) the Paradox crew decide to take a vacation but things don’t go as planned, in the Lavender Castle episode Brightonia on Sea!

First Action Bureau returns in a new novel by Richard James, now available to pre-order as a signed limited edition hardcover from the Official Gerry Anderson Store for shipping at the end of May!

If you enjoyed Nicholas Briggs’ reading of the short UFO audiobook Satellite Scare, which first aired during our 2024 Gerry Anderson Day celebration, you can now download the story for free from the Official Gerry Anderson Store!

Got questions about what you can expect from the upcoming Stingray 60th anniversary transmedia narrative Deadly Uprising? This new article should tell you everything you need to know!

Ever wondered why the Thunderbirds television series needed to use so many different models of its star vehicles? This week’s Thunderbirds Thursday article throws some light on the matter!

What’s been your favourite piece of merch from the Gerry Anderson Store? Richard and Chris discuss it in the latest edition of the Podcast Extra!

Popular Anderson episodes that first aired in the UK this week in years past include Fireball XL5‘s The Granatoid Tanks (April 21st 1963), Supercar‘s Transatlantic Cable (April 22nd 1962), Lavender Castle‘s The Collector (April 22nd 1999), New Captain Scarlet‘s Chiller (April 23rd 2005), and Stingray‘s A Nut for Marineville (April 25th 1965).

Pretty orbital, huh? We’ll be back next weekend with another Gerry Anderson news roundup – right now we’re heading downtown with Inazy! Later!
