It was also number 1 in Japan’s national classical Billboard chart. Such a great testament to the longevity of Barry Gray’s incredible musical genius.
For the first time since the original soundtrack recordings back in the 1960’s, Barry Gray’s own hand written scores have been used to create an orchestral arrangement, performed for this CD by Juni-Ichi Hirokami and the Tokyo Garden Orchestra. The score has been arranged by Gian Gamba and Alfie Pugh.
